We'll first pass Praça da Figueira, and then some of the most emblematic streets in the historic center. Admire the Pombaline architecture for the last time. Characterized by its historic buildings with symmetrical façades and colourful tiles.
As you move away from the city center, the skyscrapers get smaller, giving way to more residential areas, wider spaces and trees.
When we arrive at Humberto Delgado Airport, our friendly driver will drop you off safely in the car rental area.
Here you can pick up your rental car and start an unforgettable adventure that will take you to explore new destinations in central and southern Portugal.
Drive from Lisbon Airport to Évora
Leaving Lisbon, we'll leave behind the cosmopolitan landscapes of the Portuguese capital and head towards the Vasco da Gama Bridge.
As we pass over this imposing bridge, you can see the spectacular landscapes along the River Tagus from the vehicle's window, with its serene and varied beauty.
As we move away from the capital, we gradually encounter the first landscapes that reveal the Alentejo. From the wide plains and hills to the golden fields, dotted with olive trees, cork oaks and picturesque little villages.
Enjoy this moment of tranquillity while you take in these fantastic landscapes and feel the unique freedom of being behind the wheel.
Past Montemor-o-Novo and along the curvy roads to Évora. Along the way, the iconic Alentejo houses appear, decorated with yellow elements.
The arrival in Évora is marked by the crossing of the city's medieval walls. As you enter the city center, you'll be greeted by the silhouette of the Sé de Évora, Évora's emblematic cathedral. And the iconic Roman Temple of Diana!

In the darkness, you can begin to see with the naked eye thousands of stars that will form a magnificent starry sky.
If you want an even more detailed view of certain phenomena, put on your telescopes. And let yourself be fascinated by detailed observations of the Moon's craters, Saturn's rings, Jupiter's moons, nebulae and star clusters.
