Visit to Quinta do Vallado

Be enchanted by the serene beauty of the vineyards and terraces of the Douro, the oldest demarcated wine region in the world.

Get to know this wonderful region, where the vineyards are located on land that for centuries has been carefully cultivated and gave rise to the famous Port Wine. In the Douro there are more than 30,000 winegrowers.

Besides its oenological relevance, the Douro Valley is also known for its traditional architecture, picturesque villages and historic towns.

An interesting curiosity about this magnificent valley is that according to the IVDP (Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e do Porto) there are approximately 100 grape varieties for the production of Douro and Port Wine.

This farm is one of the oldest and most famous farms in the Douro Valley, built in 1716. It is located along the Corgo River, near the town of Peso da Régua.
