Train Journey from Madrid to Córdoba

Our experienced and friendly driver will be waiting in the lobby of your hotel to take you to the train station, where you will catch the train from Madrid to Córdoba.

During the fascinating train journey, you can see the vast golden fields, the vast vineyards and the olive groves laden with olives.

As you get closer to the city of Córdoba, the scenery changes to a greener, more mountainous landscape.

When you arrive in Córdoba, our professional driver will be waiting inside the train station to take you to your hotel.

Day 4

From Cordoba to Granada

Excursion to Úbeda / Baeza / Granada (with visit to the Almazara)

Today you will head to Jaén where you will visit a traditional "Almazara", the place where olive oil is made.

In this lagar you will learn all the secrets of this liquid gold. You will also learn about its history, how it is created, the most important elements for its creation, conservation, ways of using it, its benefits and much more.

After the tour, you will enjoy a tasting.

After this visit, you will leave Jaen and stop at Ubeda and Baeza - both UNESCO Renaissance Monumental Sites - where you will have free time for lunch and a stroll on your own.

Day 5

Meeting La Alhambra

Granada was the last city in Spain to be reconquered from the Moors in 1492. It has a vast cultural and historical legacy and is presided over by the famous Alhambra palace and fortress.

The Alhambra was an Arab palace that once housed the sultans of the Nasrid Dynasty. Located in one of the most beautiful places in the world, it is the most visited attraction in Spain. This complex of palace and fortress was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.

On this 3-hour tour with an official guide, you'll be amazed by the unique mix of art and detailed Islamic architecture.

As you walk through the corridors lined with marble columns, you'll discover the artistic beauty of the Court of Lions.

The court is an exquisite example of Islamic architecture and engineering, known for its iconic blue and yellow tiles. Next, marvel at the Nasrid Palaces of Mexuar, Comares and Leones.

Leaving the best for last, the tour ends at the Generalife, the summer palace and gardens of Emperor Charles V.

Day 6

Granada to Seville, but first, Setenil de las Bodegas and Ronda!

Excursion to Ronda and the White Towns / Seville

On the sixth day, you will leave Granada in the direction of Setenil de las Bodegas - an Andalusian municipality in the province of Cádiz that has become famous for its picturesque urban layout, declared a Historic Site.

Take advantage of the free time on arrival to explore its streets. Setenil's houses create different levels of streets forming charming nooks and crannies.

You will then head to Ronda, where you will have free time for lunch and a 2-hour guided walking tour with our local English-speaking guide.

Ronda is a unique city thanks to the surrounding nature and history. It is built on two separate cliffs. The city is connected by Spain's most famous bridge, known as "The New Bridge" (Puente Nuevo), although it was built in the 18th century.

Generally speaking, on this excursion you'll learn all about the rich history of this beautiful city.

Day 7

Discovering Seville

Cádiz, Jerez and some Wine!

On this 10-hour tour, our first stop is Jerez de La Frontera, well known for its Jerez wine, racehorses, flamenco dancing and music and motorcycle circuit.

You will then head to Cádiz, where you will have free time for lunch and to explore this incredible coastal city.
